I'm still here!

Hey there!  Please know, I am going to be working on my website in the next few days.  It used to be easier to post pictures because I was able to do so from my phone, and now I cannot.  However, I will try to be better at letting you know about upcoming dates on here.  Soon enough though, you should see some Thanksgiving, Christmas, and everything in between pictures, start to show up.

I do appreciate you subscribing though.  You all are the first to know that I have the pleasure of having a student teacher in my classroom this semester.  Yes, Mrs. Sherer is still my team teacher, but to add to that, my student teacher is Miss Rosado.  She comes to us from the University of Saint Mary, right here in town.  She has started to take over teaching math to the students, and week by week, she will gradually take over all subjects, and aspects of the classroom.  You will all get to meet her at parent/teacher conferences that are coming up.  She will be with us until the end of April so if your child tells you about Miss Rosado, you will know who they are talking about.
Last but not least, I am so so proud of the growth I have seen in all of our students.  It's so fun this time of year to see how much they all have learned.  Go, Kindergarten!

HALLOWEEN PARADE AND PARTY....and MORE!

The Halloween Parade and Party are on Tuesday, October 31st from 2:00-3:00 p.m.  The parade will start at 2 and then the party will start at around 2:30.  If you will be able to make it, we'd love to have you! We will start putting on costumes around 1:40ish so if you are available during this time to help our class we would be more than happy to have you!  We already have juice boxes, cookies, and plates coming.  If you haven't signed up and would like to bring something, some ideas are fruit or veggies, chips and dip, or treat bags.

Also, if you are able to, our kiddos are getting low on snacks.  If you can send more in that would be super great since our lunch time is at 10:40 and by 1:30 they are starving! ;)

WAY TO GO Mrs. Brice/Sherer's homeroom parents!!  We had 100% parent participation during conferences and we could not be more proud and thankful! Thank you!!!

For the week of September 11-15

David Brewer's 1st book fair of the year is this week.  It opens tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 11 @ 8:30.
The hours are as follows...
Monday- 8:30-4:00
Tuesday- 8:30-4:00
Wednesday- 10:00-4:00 (Late start day)
Thursday- 8:30-4:00
Friday- 8:30-1:00

Grandparents are invited to come eat lunch with their Kindergartener from 10:40-11:10  on Thursday, September 14, and then can take them to the book fair if they wish.

If grandparents are not able to make it is totally understandable.  You can either take your child to the book fair after school and/or send money with your child to school in an envelope marked BOOKFAIR money, and then one of our wonderful teacher's aides can take them.

We are looking forward to another great week!
